A first look at the bold “Fire Red” pback in December 2019 drew immediate comparisons to DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” Jordan collaboration from 2017, but tomorrow’s release has since differentiated itself. Subtle tweaks were made to the toe box height, elephant-print overlays and tongue lining in an attempt to recapture the ’88 silhouette’s original form, and come the closest of any retro in the past decade.
