Jordan 35 Center of Gravity

Release date: October 17, 2020.

With a strong focus on weight reduction and performance improvement, the silhouette’s design strips down to essential technologies, which include the first-ever Flightwire system with a Kurim cage underneath; updated tooling from the Jordan 34; and enclosed Zoom units.

Product Description

The Jordan 35 “Center of Gravity” is an October 2020 colorway of the performance basketball shoe that culls design cues from its Jordan heritage. Noticeably lighter in weight than its predecessor due to a modernized and updated Eclipse Plate, the Jordan 35 also features a new Flightwire system with an underlaid Kurim cage for improved on-court performance capabilities. Aesthetically, the “Center of Gravity” displays grey suede overlays above the multicolor, semi-translucent panels on either side. A small black Jumpman appears on the iridescent overlay on the collar and funky “23” detailing can be found on the lateral side in reference to the styling of the Player Exclusive Jordan 5 that Michael Jordan wore with the Chicago Bulls.

Features

The design of the collar, tongue, and heel is reminiscent of the original design of the Jordan 5, as well. On the heel, a yellow product tag features dual and Jumpman detailing as a call out to the Jordan 35’s Jordan heritage. The model’s black Eclipse Plate extends to the midsole. Enclosed Zoom units in the forefoot and heel of the midsole provide a responsive ride.
